Word: The Most-Converted File

The most frequently converted file in the world is Microsoft’s Word, also the most frequently-used word processor there is. The main reason why there’s a need to convert a Word document into a PDF is that some people wants to share documents that has contents they don’t want copied or the size reduced or simply prevent messy code errors during presentation.

As it is, PDF is unified formatting, is relatively small size, and is compatible on cross platforms.

It can also be said that converting Word to PDF is a much easier proposition than most tasks. Converting Word to PDF using free apps like Microsoft Word, Google Docs or some free online Word-to PDF converter (EasePDF) is always a cinch.

Conversions

Arguably the most convenient way in converting Word to PDF is by using an pdf converter online free. An example of a free one is EasyPDF. You can use all online tools in converting, editing, creating, splitting and merging your PDF files without registration.

This also means you can convert files on different devices like Windows computer, Mac Book, laptop, smart phone, and others.

Go to the free apps, and click Word to PDF and upload the Word document. If you want to convert the Word document on your computer (or other target files), click “Add files” and choose the target files or drag your target Word files and drop them to the designated area.

Options

If you want Word to PDF add files, wait for the files to be uploaded on the server. (It takes seconds if the files are not too heavy and your Internet speed is okay.)

When you want Word to PDF upload files, click the “Convert” button to start converting your Word documents.

If you want Word to pdf converter online free, click the “download” button to save the converted PDF files to your computer. You can save them on Google Drive and DropBox. You can have a link on them to share with anyone who wants it.

Word into PDF

There is another free and easy way to save a Word document as a PDF if you have Microsoft Office installed on your computer. (There are slight differences in Office 2007, Office 2010 and Office 2013.)

Beginning version 2010, there is a new feature on Microsoft Office. This actually is the easy ability of saving Word documents as PDFs and XPS files. You need not download any other software or install a plug-in.

Saving Word

Saving Word as PDF is simply typing the new PDF name on the “file name” section and choosing the “save as type”. After clicking the “save” button, your Word document becomes a PDF file.

You can now click “start over” if you want to start another conversion task or go to other online tools like the PDF editor, PDF to JPG converter, PDF merger and others.

Urgent file use

If you need to use the pdf converter online free immediately after the conversion, click on the tab “open file after publishing”. Or you can search for the document in whatever location you had saved it to.

If you want to make changes right away, click on “options” to open a setting window.
